Peter 4:17 the judgment has to begin at the house of God. It
looks like as if this time has come.
Reading informations
about the persecuted Christians in the Islamic and Communist
countries we consider ourselves fortunate. But who in reality
is more fortunate, they or we? Also in the sosaid
“free world” the Christians are persecuted, only
in a much more insinuating way. Therefore many Christians
fail without even noticing it.

In fact that what in
the world is normal, unfortunately has become also a reality in
our assemblies. Families of believers one dividing themselves. Christians,
who according to the Scriptures, died with Christ become oddly alive
whenever they must face problems. The varied proofs of the faith
unfortunately reveal that there is more cinders than gold and that
we don't find the prove of our faith a reason of praise (1° Peter
1: 6-7). What a shame. One loses almost the courage to preach the
Gospel.

Since October 2005
we have 3 elders .

Assembly
of Alghero
In April we were able to rent a very nice hall
for the the meetings. For the inauguration came the
Vice-Mayor of the city with the marshal of the urban Police.
Both have had a positive impression. That isn’t enough,
but ....
We
rejoice for some women who attend the church of Alghero with
much zeal and large gladness. It does good to see their first
love. Also a divorced woman has returned after several years.

Peter
has finished the studies in the epistle to the Romans.
Now Bruno took up the conduction of the bible studies
besides his responsibility for the church.
Jessica,
our nephew gives us much joy. She loves the Lord and assists the
young people group to follow Jesus. After one of my preachings in
the church of Porto Torres she said to me:
" Today you merit an extra kiss." I asked he "Why"?
Answer: "Your
preaching has helped me."
Tempio
Every Wednesday at 10:30 we have a bible study at our home.
Maurilio,
the first fruit of Tempio, does never miss the meeting. Meantime
he attended with his wife and the two sons four meetings (in Torres
Porto, in Olbia, in Siniscola and a baptism service on the seaside
of Alghero).
His
sons have said to him that they never have seen so many happy people
together. His wife said that we are all hypnotized, as it is not
possible live with so much serenity.
| Every
Sunday we visit one of our assemblies for the worship service
At least once a
month we have a bible study in Alghero (in the morning
with the sisters and the evening with the rest of the church)
and once a month in Torres Porto. For the brothers of Alghero
I prepare the bible studies in form of queries.
We have had the
intention to visit the jail of Sassari with a German group
and do an evangelisation at the beach of the " Isola
rossa." Many Tempiesi have a house there for the summertime
or go there to enjoy the sea. For the jail we have not received
any response and the day the evangelisation should have taken
place we had a great storm and a rain burst. What shall we
say? Praise the Lord
